Wendy's Robbed At Gunpoint While Employees Hid In Back Room: Police

The suspect fled on foot with cash from the business before officers arrived, according to police.

ST. PAUL, MN — A fast food restaurant was robbed by an armed person Wednesday morning in St. Paul, according to police.

At about 8:15 a.m., authorities received a 911 call from the business in the 600 block of University Avenue West, identified as a Wendy’s by KMSP. The caller reported the store was robbed by a man armed with a handgun and that employees were in a back room, police said.

The suspect fled on foot with cash from the business before officers arrived, according to police.
