Absentee Voting Available In Person At Shakopee City Hall

Voters can mail in their absentee ballots before Election Day or drop them off at City Hall.

Beginning Friday, Sept. 18, Shakopee voters can vote early in-person with an absentee ballot at Shakopee City Hall, 475 Gorman St.

Voting is available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays through Monday, Nov. 2. In-person voting will also be open special hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 and until 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2.

The city has taken extra precautions to ensure voters can vote in a safe environment, including:

  • Physically distanced voting booths
  • Disinfecting materials and booths between voters
  • Hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the building

If you prefer to vote from home, you can apply for an absentee ballot to receive one by mail at mnvotes.sos.state.mn.us/AB…/ABRegistrationStep1.aspx. Voters can mail in their absentee ballots before Election Day or drop them off at City Hall. Beginning Monday, Sept. 21, Scott County Elections staff will be accepting ballots from 8 to 11 a.m. and noon to 4:30 p.m. weekdays through Nov. 2.
