• DFL-Authored Flock Camera Legislation to Return in 2027 (mn.gov) — Shakopee residents are at the center of a renewed push to regulate Flock license plate reader cameras after neighbors reported harassment tied to federal immigration enforcement. Local Rep. Brad Tabke and Sen. Clare Oumou Verbeten plan to reintroduce a 2027 bill that would sharply limit data retention, sharing, and out-of-state access to Minnesotans' license plate information.
