• 2026 Fall Seminar (mn.gov) — Shakopee will host a Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry Fall Seminar on Oct. 14 at Canterbury Downs, offering seven continuing-education credits focused on new state building code changes. Local building officials, plumbers, and inspectors can learn about commercial plumbing best practices, fire and smoke protection, egress rules, and radon provisions, with lunch included in the $125 registration fee.
