Georgette Hergott

Georgette S., age 91, of Shakopee. Born in Spring Lake Township on January 13, 1921, the daughter of Gregory and Ida (Sand) Boehmer. She and Donald A. Hergott were married on August 21, 1943 in Shakopee. For 17 years Georgette worked as a dietary aid at St. Francis Hospital in Shakopee. She was a volunteer for Mobile Meals and Loaves and Fishes. She was an excellent cook and baker. Georgette and Donald loved traveling together.
Georgette is preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and parents. Survived by children, Yvonne (Stan) Andresen of Mankato, Michael, Mark (Bev), Pam (Mike) Reynolds, Greg, all of Shakopee; grandchildren, Jeff, Tami, David, Thomas, Michelle, Kenzie, Matthew, Bryan, Kayla; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Germaine Ryan and Grace Scherer; nieces and nephews.

Services

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, June 26, 2012, 10:00 AM, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 535 Lewis Street, Shakopee. Officiating is the Reverend James Schoenberger. Pallbearers are her grandchildren, Jeff, David, Thomas, Michelle, Matthew and Bryan. Interment Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation

Visitation Monday from 4-7 PM, and Tuesday from 9-9:30 AM, at McNearney Funeral Home, 1220 E. 3rd Ave., Shakopee.

Memorials

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Shakopee Area Catholic Schools.
