I bought one because I do oppose the Marriage Amendment, and here is why: Some opponents to the Marriage Amendment say it is a civil rights issue for same-sex couples. I am an opponent because I oppose government involvement in social issues. Why should the government tell you what relationship to have or what to do in your own bedroom? And why should government power be used by one group of people to shut out another group of people by creating a state constitutional amendment?

I believe the issue of marriage is best left up to the individual, not the state of Minnesota or Congress. How do you expect a group of elected bureaucrats to manage you when they cannot manage themselves and the offices of government entrusted in them by you the voter?

The issue of marriage should be left out of the hands of the state. That is why I will be voting NO on Nov. 6.
