This is a non-partisan guide to Election Year Events and Booths at the Minnesota State Fair.
The most common boths you will find are the DFL and MNGOP booths located throughout the Fairgrounds. Accroding to the DFL Website, "The DFL Booth will be located on the Northeast Corner of Dan Patch AVE and Cooper Street". The GOP will also have a booth. The MNGOP stated" The booth is located at 1702 Carnes Avenue, near the Intersection of Carnes Ave & Underwood St." These are the most common political booths, but are not the only booth you may come across.
The Independence Party, YES, Gov. Jesse Ventura's old political party will have a booth at the Fair. According to The Independence Party of Minnesota's Website "Come see us at the Independence Party booth (on Dan Patch Ave between Underwood and Nelson)". The Independence Party always tries to make a presence every year like the DFL and The GOP at the Fairgrounds. If your looking for a election year event than the Minnesota Public Radio Booth will have two key events.

Minnesota Public Radio is planning three debates, according to Minnesota Public Radio," The First Debate will be at noon on Tuesday August 28th with a 4th congressional District Debate between Congresswomen Betty McCollum and her GOP opponent Tony Hernandez. The Second Debate will be at noon Wednesday August 29th with a 5th Congressional District Debate between Congressmen Keth Ellison and His GOP opponent Chris Fields and a US Senate Debate between Amy Klobuchar and her GOP opponent Kurt Bills on Thursday August 30th at noon. The Minnesota Public Radio Booth is located at the corner of Judson and Nelson". The Debates and Booths are part of the election year eperience at the State Fair..
