Help For Struggling Homeowners

About a third of houses on the real estate market now are considered distressed properties, but a deal has been reached to help more than 2 million borrowers with at least $25 billion in relief.

Many homeowners have recently struggled, but a deal has been reached to help struggling homeowners and more than 2 million borrowers that are underwater could benefit from at least $25 BILLION in relief. The nations largest banks are part of  the  broadest government settlement yet to help those struggling. Roughly 1 million borrowers owing more on their houses than they are worth are expected to have their debt reduced, 300,000 are expected to be able to refinance their current homes at a lower interest rates and those who lost their home to foreclosure between September of 2008 to the end of 2011 will receive checks for about $2000.

Final details were still being negotiated out, but the New York Times will keep us updated on the progress.

We still have much inventory to go through, but there are still many quality MN homes for sale for buyer to cash in on and purchase with record low interest rates and lower price points.
