Classic Car Restorer Buys Old Fire Station
Peter D. Lund bought the Second Avenue property for $320,000.

The City Council voted Tuesday to sell the former downtown fire station to a classic car restorer for $320,000.
Peter D. Lund expects to use the 334 Second Ave. E. property to store and do minor restoration work on classic vehicles. July 12 has been set as the closing date.
The Fire Department left the station in 2012 when it moved to the new Fire Station 2 at 1001 Vierling Drive W.
