The 5k race starts in the horse starting gates, travels through the 6" high grassy turf on the racetrack, continues outside the track and ends back on the racetrack in front of the grandstand.
On-line registration can be done through Aug. 4 for $25. Otherwise, the entry cost is $30 on race day; registration will be held between 7:45 and 9 a.m. before the race.
