Educating Trainman: A Mother and Son’s Autism Story

Stefan and Barb Kavan, a young man with autism and his mother, will present their experience with autism, focusing on social acceptance and developing friendships through special interests. They coauthored a children’s book called “Trainman” published on this topic.  This Autism Awareness Month presentation is aimed at adults and families with school aged children.  Related events are taking place are also taking place through New Prague Area Community Ed. and the New Prague Library.  The program is free and open to all- call the library at 952.233.9590 for more information on this program.
