Do you enjoy outdoor games? Looking for some family fun? Are you on the hunt for a tasty meal? Do you think history has to be “old stuff”? Gather up the family and head to Cedar Lake Farm Regional Park for a fun, relaxing, interesting and tasty family event. Take part in ‘old fashioned’ lawn games, listen to some toe-tapping live music, have a chat with a history character, take a leisurely stroll along the lake shore, enjoy a fantastic hog roast meal, get to know your local county historical society, and bid on some terrific auction items!
The Scott County Historical Society (SCHS) can make all this happen for you at a minimal cost. Here's how. Gather up the family and join us on Saturday, September 22, 2012. The SCHS works for you to search save and share the history and cultural heritage of Scott County, and we would like you to be a part of the celebration!
