HEIGHTEN THE COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT IN YOUR AUTISTIC CHILD
Parent Information Night

This is a class for parents to learn about an evidence-based comprehensive strategy that uses an elevated square to establish normal developmental skills in children affected with Autism and related disorders (Ages 18 months - 7 years) called The Miller Method. The technique improves body awareness and organizational skills, improves communication skills and understanding of spoken words, provides social-emotional interaction and parent-child bonding, improves the ability to focus and follow directions, teaches motor planning and problem solving, heightens self-awareness and eye contact, improves ability to transition from one activity to another, transitions undesirable behaviors into functional ones, and diminishes toe-walking, hand flapping, spinning, wandering, and echolalia. Come see the elevated square and learn more about how this technique could help your child.
