Tubbs Snowshoes proudly presents a 3k or 5k snowshow walk and 3k snowshoe race on the Arboretum's beautiful snowshoe trails in a wooded, snowy setting. A shorter course for children in the Lil Romper and Lil Bitty Romper will also be offered. Tubbs will provide demo snowshoes to participants (or bring your own). Although this will be the inaugural year for the Minnesota Romp, the entire series will be celebrating its 10th year of Romping in 2012.
Open to participants of all levels - even if you're a beginner! An expo inside the Oswald Visitor Center will feature snowshoe demos, light refreshments and discount at the Gift Store. An awards and recognition ceremony is also part of the program. All proceeds benefit the Minnesota Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. The 2012 Participation Goal: 350. The 2012 Fundraising Goal: $15,000.
