The fire danger rating for Scott County is very high, and the use of fireworks in Shakopee is banned.

According to the city:

With drought and continued windy conditions, the use of all fireworks has been banned. Please use extreme caution if burning a recreational fire as windblown sparks and embers can easily start other spreading fires.
