Former Hermantown Coach Sentenced for Providing Alcohol to Minors
Shakopee police arrested the coach after they found him and members of the boys and girls Hermantown High School golf teams drinking alcohol.

The Duluth News Tribune has reported that former Hermantown High School Assistant Golf Coach Kyle Gordon Ernst, 26, received a stay of imposition of sentence after pleading guilty to serving alcohol to minors.
The incident occurred in Shakopee after the Hermantown High School team missed finishing first place by just one stroke in a golf tournament in June of this year. A Kwik Trip surveillance video showed Ernst buying $62 worth of alcohol, which included two cases of beer and a 12-pack of hard lemonade.
Patch reported that Shakopee police arrested Ernst at the Country Inn and Suites hotel, where they found that Ernst and some members of the Hermantown boys and girls golf teams had been drinking alcohol.
