On August 31, 2010, the Savage Area Women of Today became the latest chapter of the Minnesota Women of Today organization (www.mnwt.org). Since then we have been serving the communities of Savage, Prior Lake, Shakopee and beyond with a variety of service projects. In addition we provide a social outlet and opportunities for networking, leadership development, and more to our members!
On Tuesday, August 27, 2013 the Savage Area Women of Today will celebrate their third birthday by giving back to the community. To celebrate we will be assembling birthday bags for the CAP Agency food shelf. These bags contain cake mix, frosting, and other items to hold a child’s birthday party such as plates, napkins, party favors, decorations, candles, and more.
This year’s event will be held at Davanni’s Pizza (14125 Highway 13 S, Savage) at 7 PM. You can attend to help us assemble bags or just stop in to make a donation of supplies.
Our events are open to guests and are free of charge to attend. The Women of Today is an organization dedicated to helping women grow themselves through community service and leadership training.
