'Leading Ladies' Play Opens Saturday
The play stars Shakopee School Board member Scott Swanson.

Editor's Note: The following is a River Valley Theater Company press release.
River Valley Theatre Company is a co-sponsor with the Dakota Fine Arts Consortium's performance of Ken Ludwig's "Leading Ladies" starring Shakopee resident and School Board Member, Scott Swanson on March 9-10.
This farcical play begins with two young English actors who are so broke that they are performing at Moose Lodges in Amish country. When they hear about an elderly lady about to die leaving her fortune to her long-lost English nephews, the actors decide to pass themselves off as her relatives to get the cash. The catch? The lost nephews are actually nieces. Romantic entanglements ensue, cross-dressing disguises are devised and hilarious comic moments abound.
