Mapleton Man ID’d as Friday Crash Victim
Alexander Lenox Reeves died after his car crashed into oncoming traffic.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has identified a 19-year-old Mapleton man as the person who died in Friday’s crash on Highway 169.
Alexander Lenox Reeves was driving a 1996 Honda Accord south on Highway 169, by Fuller Street South, at 8:32 p.m. The vehicle crossed from the southbound lanes to the northbound lanes, hitting a 2014 Volvo Sterling and a 2012 Ford Supercrew head on.
Reeves died at the scene of “multiple blunt force injuries,” according to the examiner. He had been wearing his seatbelt and his airbag deployed, according to the State Patrol report.

Neither of the two people in the Sterling were injured. Two passengers in the Supercrew had injuries that weren’t life threatening. The Supercrew driver was not injured.
