Maria Hauger Places Third in Foot Locker Cross Country Championships Midwest Regional
The Shakopee cross country runner qualified to compete in the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships National Finals.
Shakopee runner Maria Hauger finished in third place in the girls' race at the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships Midwest Regional last weekend, according to a news release.
The top ten boys and top ten girls qualified to compete in the National Finals scheduled for Dec. 8. It was Hauger's second time qualifying for the finals.
The 5,000 meter race occurred in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Saturday, Nov. 24. Anna Rohrer of Mishawaka, Indiana and Jake Leingang of Bismark, North Dakota won the Midwest Regional.
