Metropolitan Council Wants To Hear From County Residents

The Metropolitan Council is looking for input as it creates a vision for the 7-county metro area. The next listening session is in Savage on Tuesday.

The Metropolitan Council is holding ten Thrive MSP 2040 Listening Sessions during the month of September to receive input on a vision for the 7-county metro area, which includes Scott County.

Council Chair Susan Haigh, in a release from the Metropolitan Council, said:

“The Council wants to hear from residents about the kind of community we should leave for our children and our grandchildren over the next 30 years. We’re anxious to hear what investments people want us to make today that will affect our region’s future. It’s important to hear that information before we put the plan together, and these listening sessions are a great opportunity to participate.”
