New Nightly Closures for Hwy. 169 and I-494
The ramp and lane closures start Tuesday at 7 p.m. and will occur each night through Sept. 20.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation has announced three days of ramp and lane closures on Highway 169 and Interstate 494 this week from Sept. 18 through Sept. 20. Crews are painting the new flyover ramp bridges.
According to MnDOT:
The loop ramp from northbound Hwy. 169 to westbound I-494 will close nightly at 10 p.m.

- Access to westbound I-494 will be available via Hwy 212.
- The ramp will reopen by 5 a.m. each day following the closures.
Lane closures on both directions of Hwy. 169 between Anderson Lakes Parkway and I-494 will begin at 7 p.m.
- Lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. each day following the overnight restrictions.
