New Stores Begin Opening at Eden Prairie Center in March
Eden Prairie Center announced Thursday that five new tenants would be coming soon to the shopping center.
Both national and regional businesses are among the new businesses coming in, and include: DSW, Cotton On, Francesca's, Sub Zero Ice Cream and Yogurt, and Teavana.

All businesses will open between March and June of this year, with the exception of DSW, which will open sometime in 2014. Sub Zero will open in March, followed by Cotton On May, and Francesca's and Teavana in June.

Dell, With Hundreds of Twin Cities Employees in Tow, to Go Private
The major computer company, Dell, will go private in a $24 billion deal.
Dell owns Eden Prairie-based Compellent Technologies, after acquiring it in 2011, according to Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Magazine. At the time of the acquistion, Compellent Technologies employed roughly 400 people and planned on hiring more.
There were not details on how the deal would affect local workers.
Popeyes to Open Sometime This Spring
Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen will open on Glen Lane sometime this spring.
According to EdenPrairieNews.com, a representative of the company said: "A restaurant in Eden Prairie [is] proposed to open in the spring, pending any construction delays, etc. Hopefully we are able to accommodate that timeline without any hitches."
As previously reported by Eden Prairie Patch, Popeyes will replace the former KFC restaurant, which was purchased along with a dozen other Twin Cities locations from a bankrupt francisee.
