PHOTOS: Shakopee Girls Place First at Cross Country Invitational

Maria Hauger had top honors in the girls race with a time of 14:12.5.

The Shakopee High School cross country teams hosted the Shakopee Invitational at Memorial Park Tuesday afternoon with 12 teams at the varsity level.

The Shakopee girls placed first and the boys fifth in the team competitions.  There were 69 competitors in the girls race and 93 in the boys race.

Maria Hauger placed first overall and was the girls team leader with a time of 14:12.5. Other individual finishes were:

  • Winona Rachel 2nd (15:11.6)      
  • Tess Misgen 4th (15:25.6)      
  • Alli Lynch 6th (15:35.8)     
  • Anna Neu 29th (16:54.6)     
  • Allyson Walker 31st (16:55.9)     
  • Maggie Jakubiak 33rd (17:01.5)

Aaron Wood was the top finisher for the Sabers, placing 11th with a time of 17:51.5. Other individual finishes were:

  • 12 Bryon Olfert 12th (17:56.4)
  • 21 Kyle Rachel 21st (18:17.8)
  • 33 Mike Wagner 33rd (18:30.6)
  • 44 Allen Lynch 44th (18:42.7)
  • 59 Alex Easton 59th (19:10.8)
  • 63 Gavin Menning 63rd (19:14.2)
