Police: High Waters Shouldn’t Close 101 Bridge

The Shakopee Police Department continues to monitor river levels.

Shakopee police do not expect flooding to close the Highway 101 bridge—but they continue to monitor river levels, the agency announced on Facebook

The Department of Natural Resources doesn’t have a gauge in Shakopee, but the closest Minnesota River gauge, in nearby Jordan, classifies the river as “very high” at 25.13 feet, as of 12:15 p.m. Friday.

Meanwhile, Shakopee police remind residents that trails are flooded in some areas.
