Police Say They Have No Leads on Missing Man

Lorenzo Moreno-Pacheco, a 61-year-old Burnsville man, disappeared a month ago.

A month of searching has yielded little insight into the disappearance of Lorenzo Moreno-Pacheco (also known as Lorenzo Pacheco-Orozco), a vulnerable adult who was reported missing on April 15. Burnsville Police Department officials said on May 17 they have no signs and no leads, in spite of their efforts.

The 61-year-old was last seen around 6:30 a.m. on , near his home in southwest Burnsville. The missing man does not speak English and suffers from dementia as a result of a head injury. He stands approximately 5 feet, 6 inches and weighs about 150 pounds. He walks with a limp. He was last seen wearing black pants and a red shirt.

In the last month, police have conducted multiple searches on the air and ground, involving 12 different agencies—inlcluding the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The trail seems to have gone cold. Police said they have not planned any more searches, but will follow leads as the come in. Anyone with any information is akse to call 911 or contact Detective Christi Carpenter at 952-895-4592.
