A public hearing to consider an amendment to the Southbridge Crossings East Planned Unit Development and a preliminary and final plat of Southbridge Crossings East 6th Addition has been scheduled for the Aug. 6 Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment and Appeals meeting. Shakopee Housing is requesting the amendment with plans to develop a 61-unit apartment building, 4,000-square-foot retail building, 19,600-square-foot multi-tenant retail building and 27,636-square-foot grocery store on 6.89 acres at 1620 Crossings Blvd. The proposed preliminary and final plat is for a 1.71-acre lot for the 61-unit apartment building. The remaining acreage is a proposed outlot, which would require subsequent final plats to be developed.
