Republic Services To Collect Missed Dec. 28 Pickups In Shakopee

Republic Services plans to pick up trash missed Dec. 28 due to the weather on Wednesday, Jan. 1. Please place your garbage cart at the end of your driveway by 7 a.m. Republic will collect extra bags placed next to your cart free of charge. Missed recycling will be collected Thursday, Jan. 2.

Please note, this applies only to garbage and recycling missed on Dec. 28 when Republic pulled its trucks off the road due to icy conditions. Wednesday’s normal route will still be delayed to Thursday to accommodate the New Year’s holiday. Thursday and Friday’s normal routes will also be delayed to Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Also, Wednesday’s drivers may not be your normal route driver. Therefore, Republic Services appreciates your patience and understanding if the route takes longer than normal.
