River Valley Church Grand Opening in Shakopee

The Grand Opening of River Valley Church's Shakopee Campus is this weekend. Join us for Easter services Saturday and Sunday.

River Valley Church is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of it’s newly constructed Shakopee Campus. Mayor Tabke and Chamber President Whitcomb were on hand to offer remarks and commemorate the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Tuesday, March 3. Mayor Tabke declared the day “River Valley Church Day” in the city of Shakopee. The Grand Opening services will be Easter Weekend: Saturday, 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, 9:30 & 11:00 a.m.

River Valley Church first held services in 1995 at Shannon Park Elementary School in Rosemount with only 189 attendees the opening weekend. Currently, over 7,000 attend services each weekend at the seven campuses around the Twin Cities metro area and two International campuses in Spain and Swaziland. Due to the rapid growth, Outreach Magazine has awarded River Valley the distinction of being listed #23 on the list of the Top 100 Fastest Growing Churches in America in 2014.

River Valley’s focus is leading people into an authentic, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. Their desire is to impact people to make a difference in their community and world. Each month, a team is sent somewhere in the world to meet the physical and spiritual needs of a specific community. Some of these teams have worked with orphans, children from abused homes, building churches in the rainforest, providing medical care, disaster relief and doing community service projects. Each year over 250 teams serve in our local communities provide food, clothing, care, cleaning and maintenance help to those in need. There are also have a variety of programs and events specifically for men, women, children and families throughout the year at every campus for attendees and guests. The Shakopee Campus is located at 1350 Crossings Blvd. Service times are Saturday, 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.
