Shakopee Chamber of Commerce to Host Quarterly Educational Seminar on Leadership Behaviors & the Power of Perception

The Shakopee Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its upcoming educational seminar on Leadership Behaviors & The Power of Perception will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 8:00 am-11:30am at the Shakopee Police Department Training Room. This event is open to the public.

Our behaviors, speech, and how we carry ourselves as leaders all derive from our perceptions and attitudes.  During this workshop, attendees will take a whirlwind tour of the mind, with the intent that each of us finds one attitude that we can shift in order to make us more effective in our roles.  This workshop will look at examples of perceptions that don't serve us, and then six leadership attitudes for success. Attendees will be asked to choose one new perception and associate behaviors that can make a difference in how you show up and lead at work.  Discover the difference that a focus on simple, effective behaviors can make.

Not only will attendees learn all about the whys and hows, but they will actually put in place a process to improve one simple but crucial behavior and build a 30-day Accountability Plan.
