
The Shakopee Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Bureau is holding its annual Holiday Food Drive, which supports the CAP Agency, a community action partnership of Scott, Carver and Dakota counties and Shakopee Chamber member.
“Helping the people in our community who needed an extra hand this Holiday season is an obligation and a privilege we all share, and we are happy to get the business community involved,” explained Angie Whitcomb, President of the Shakopee Chamber & Visitor’s Bureau.

The Chamber Annual Food Drive is collecting donations from both Chamber members and the community. The Chamber will also be accepting food donations at its 2013 Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, December 6 to kick off the start of the food drive. The Chamber will be collecting food donations until Thursday, December 19th at noon at its office. The CAP Agency is located in Shakopee and has many services to help those in need in the local community.
