The Shakopee Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Business Builder Luncheon featuring Rachel Olson with Rachel Olson Coaching to focus on StrengthsFinder on Wednesday, February 12 at 11:30 a.m. The public is invited to this luncheon.
StrengthsFinder is a tool that provides people with their top five strengths helping people figure out what they do best. This tool was created by Gallup from millions of interviews with people across the globe and from all walks of life. People who discover, develop and leverage their strengths are usually more engaged at work and in life, more effective and productive and more excited about the contribution they make.
“People who use their strengths every day are six times more likely to be engaged on the job,” added Rachel Olson of Rachel Olson Coaching. “Teams that focus on their strengths are 12.5 percent more productive.”
This event will teach employers how focusing on strengths can greatly increase engagement, and thus productivity, among employees. It will also help employees that are looking to become more engaged and fulfilled in their work to further their career and goals. This event will also be a great opportunity to meet others from the community and the Chamber, pass out business cards and make some new connections.
