Defense dominates and the offensive line had their way against the Hawks, Sabers win 49-22

The Shakopee football team used another strong defensive performance to remain undefeated on the season in a 49-22 win over Chaska on Friday at Shakopee High School.

The Sabers opened up a 35-0 lead over Chaska at halftime and never looked back. The offense was able to run up and down the field at will, with the offensive line opening up gaps for the running backs. Through three games this season, Shakopee is outscoring its opponents a combined 122-43.

Shakopee is 3-0 on the season and will travel to Missota Conference rival Farmington next week. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on Friday
