Shakopee Girls Soccer Falls to Minnetonka

The Sabers lost 2-1 to the Skippers Tuesday evening in Minnetonka.

The Shakopee Sabers girls soccer team fell 2-1 to the Minnetonka Skippers Tuesday night at Minnetonka.

The Skippers got on the board first with a goal by freshman Maggie Crist in the first half. Shakopee's Samantha Verbeke would answer to tie the game but a second half goal by Senior Abby Kuzara sealed the 2-1 victory for Minnetonka.

Shakopee falls to 3-2 on the year and will host Waconia this Saturday. Meanwhile Minnetonka is now 4-0 on the season and will host Minneapolis Southwest Wednesday evening.
