ON THE LINE
The Sabers tied for second place in the Missota Conference last season with a 9-3 conference mark and finished 15-10-1 overall. They were a streaky team last year, starting the season 6-1-1 before losing six straight games. They finished the season winning nine of their final 12, but were upset by Prior Lake 6-0 in the playoffs. The Sabers return all but four players from last year's team. The Raiders were 12-13-1 last season, losing to Hill-Murray in the first round of the playoffs. They defeated North St. Paul 7-2 in the season opener.

The junior led the Sabers with 34 goals last season and was a part of top line who had 70 goals.
Chloe Kinsel – Cretin Derham Hall forward
The senior had three goals in the season opener Tuesday. She had 15 goals and 21 assists as a junior last season.
SABERS WIN IF...
They can get solid goalkeeping after losing four-year starter Kailey Gansen to graduation.
RAIDERS WIN IF...
They can find a replacement for graduated senior Kalli Funk, who scored 29 of the team’s 71 goals last season.
