Showcase Shakopee: First Annual City Photo Contest—Deadline Extended

From the City of Shakopee: We know Shakopee has great people, fun events and activities, breathtaking parks and scenery, and lively entertainment venues. Here’s your chance to showcase all this and more in the city’s first annual photo contest.
 
Dust off your camera or dig through your digital photos and submit your entries for the following categories:

• Enjoying Life in Shakopee: Photos of people enjoying the amenities Shakopee has to offer.
• Action, Action, Action:  Photos from local sporting events, festivals, entertainment, etc.
• Taking in the View:  Architecture, nature, landmarks and more.

 
The contest is open to amateur photographers and is restricted to Shakopee residents only.

Entries must be submitted in .jpg format in two ways:

• A CD in person or by mail at City of Shakopee Photo Contest, 129 Holmes Street South
• Email ShakopeePhotoContest@ci.shakopee.mn.us

The deadline for entries has been extended to Oct. 26. All submissions will become the property of the City of Shakopee and may be used in city publications, websites, social media sites, e-newsletters, etc.
