Shepherd of the Lake Concert Series Features The Branderson DuoHarpist Dr. Rachel Brandwein and trombonist Dr. David Peterson perform as the Branderson Duo. They first met in 2009 as doctoral students at Stony Brook University and began playing together professionally in 2011. The duo enjoys pairing and experimenting with the timbres and articulations unique to each instrument. Their concerts consist of original compositions as well as their own transcriptions of both popular and obscure works.
