The Savage Area Women of Today are holding their monthly meeting on September 12th at 7 PM at the Prior Lake VFW (16306 Main, Prior Lake). Our meetings are a time for our members and guests to suggest events or activities. We also have guest speakers and collections for local organizations.
In September, the CAP Agency is coming to visit our chapter to tell us more about their volunteer opportunities.
Also at the September meeting we are collecting donations of women's career clothing for Dress for Success. Clothing should be interview appropriate for women of all ages/sizes. Shoes, handbags, and other accessories are also accepted.
Our meetings are open to guests and are free of charge to attend. The Women of Today is an organization dedicated to helping women grow themselves through community service and leadership training. Membership is open to anyone over 18 years of age.
