12-Year-Old Killed In Minneapolis After 'Verbal Disagreement'

No arrests have been made, but "strong headway has been made on this case already," police said.

MINNEAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a 12-year-old boy was shot and killed in Minneapolis Wednesday afternoon following "verbal disagreement."

The dispute "turned violent when at least one person presented a gun and began shooting," police said. Suspects fled before officers arrived at the scene at 3:41 p.m.

No arrests have been made, but "strong headway has been made on this case already," police said. Anyone with information can submit anonymous tips here.
