2 And 4-Year-Old Fighting For Life After Cop Chase Ends In Park
The driver who crashed into the kids hasn't had a valid drivers license since August 2014, according to authorities.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — More details have emerged after a police chase ended with the suspect vehicle crashing into a group of kids at a Minneapolis park Monday, sending three to the hospital.
Lillianna Lee Peltier, 4, and Kayden Jay Peltier, 2, suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision. Konnor Jace Peltier, 3, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
All three kids are from the same Saint Paul family and are being treated at North Memorial Hospital.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a trooper attempted to stop a Ford Expedition for speeding on southbound I-94 in Minneapolis shortly after 9:30 a.m. Monday.
The suspect vehicle refused to stop, fled and exited the freeway at 53rd street and continued to flee on city streets, authorities said.

The driver then crashed into the group of kids in Bohanon Park. Police say he then fled on foot but was apprehended. Two troopers suffered minor injuries while trying to catch him.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 27-year-old Kabaar Wahleen Powell of Richfield. Powell was also hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
Powell hasn't had a valid drivers license since August 2014, authorities to the Star Tribune.
