8-Year-Old Killed In Brooklyn Center Hit And Run; Suspect Sought
Authorities are still searching for the suspect who was likely driving a white Nissan Rogue.
BROOKLYN CENTER, MN — An 8-year-old girl is dead following a Friday night hit-and-run in Brooklyn Center, and police are asking for the public's help to find the person who hit her.
Just after 10:30 p.m., officers were called to a crash on Highway 252 at 66th Avenue, according to a Minnesota State Patrol release Authorities said the driver of the vehicle was headed south on Highway 252 when they hit the girl.
The victim was identified as 8-year-old Iliana Tasso, ABC 5 reported.

Authorities are still searching for the vehicle, which police believe is a 2015 to 2020 white Nissan Rogue. The vehicle likely has damage to the right front side.
Anyone with information about the vehicle or the suspect should call the Minnesota State Patrol at 763-279-4569.
