'Accumulating Snow' Possible In Minnesota This Week: NWS
Temperatures will turn especially cold in Minnesota later this week.
MINNESOTA — October has only started, but there are chances for accumulating snow across Minnesota this week. The National Weather Service says western Minnesota will see the best chance for the white stuff later this week.

Friday Night, Oct. 11: Rain likely before 10 p.m., then rain and snow likely between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m., then a chance of snow after 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. Breezy, with a west wind around 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
Saturday, Oct. 12: A chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37. Breezy, with a west wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.

Saturday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. Breezy, with a west wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
Sunday, Oct. 13: A chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39. West northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
