Man Found Fatally Shot Inside Vehicle In South Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — A man was fatally shot inside a vehicle in south Minneapolis late Friday, and police are still trying to determine what led to the shooting.

Minneapolis police said Fifth Precinct officers responded to the 2000 block of 3rd Avenue South around 10:30 p.m. Friday after receiving reports of gunfire and a person being shot.

Officers found a man in his 30s inside a vehicle with life-threatening gunshot wounds. Despite medical aid provided by officers and emergency personnel, the man died at the scene, police said.

While investigators searched the area, no arrests have been made. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
