Andersen United Community School Placed On 'Code Red Lockdown'

The lockdown occurred after regular classes had finished, Minneapolis school officials said.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Andersen United Community School was placed on a "code red lockdown" as a precautionary measure after students reported "suspicious activity" Thursday, Minneapolis officials said. The lockdown occurred after regular classes had finished.

The report was investigated and after-school programming was dismissed with "only a minor delay." Students were sent home on their normal after-school buses.
