Beyond The Call: Minneapolis Officer Fixes Broken Table

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Going "beyond the call" is something that Minneapolis police officers do on a regular basis, the department says. Here is just one of those times. Officer David Mattson was recently on a call where a woman's table was broken during a domestic disturbance. The victim commented to the officers that she would now have to throw the table away because it was damaged.

Mattson took the woman's broken table, fixed it, and returned it to her. "We appreciate Officer Mattson taking the time to help this victim in her time of need,' the department said.
