Woman's Body Found In Dumpster, 1 Arrested After Police Chase
A driver fled from Bloomington to Minneapolis before police stopped and arrested him. A 1-year-old — who is now safe — was also in the car.

BLOOMINGTON, MN — One man was taken into custody after a police chase that was sparked by the discovery of a woman's body found in a dumpster in Bloomington.
At 9:50 a.m, Bloomington Police dispatch received a call reporting that a man was seen dumping a body into a dumpster outside an apartment complex on the 8900block of Wentworth Avenue.
An officer arrived found the body. At the scene, an officer spotted a car leaving the parking lot.

Police in the area tried to pull over the car on Nicollet Avenue, but the driver fled, investigators said.
The police chased continued down Nicollet Avenue into south Minneapolis. Officers pinned the car at Nicollet Avenue and 46th Street, where the driver was taken into custody.

A one-year-old was also in the car. The child was evaluated by medical responders and released to Child Protection Services.
There were no injuries in the pursuit, according to authorities.
Police from Richfield, Minneapolis, Edina — as well as the Minnesota State Patrol — assisted in the chase.
