Boomers Are Flocking To These Trendy Zip Codes: MN Included

A new study shows that baby boomers are big fans of cities.

MINNESOTA — The study found that several zip codes in New York City are among the most popular for baby boomers, with the city claiming 14 of the top 20 zip codes with the largest baby boomer population.

“The most populous city in the U.S., New York has the largest population of baby boomers,” RentCafe writes. “This certainly challenges the myth that all seniors prefer Florida with New York City boasting almost half as many baby boomers as the entire state of Florida – 1.4 million versus 3.9 million.”

In Minnesota, the top trending zip code for baby boomers is 55442.
