Brother Of City Councilman Stabbed In Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS — The brother of Minneapolis Councilmember Jamal Osman is fighting for his lifter after being stabbed in south Minneapolis Thursday.

"Liban was just one victim of violence yesterday in Minneapolis, and there were too many more," Osman wrote on Facebook.

"God willing, my brother will live. Hopefully his wounds will heal and he will be able to resume a close to normal life."

The Minneapolis Police Department did not respond to Patch's request for comment.
