Buffalo Wild Wings 'Hacked,' Apologizes For 'Awful' Tweets

"I'm willing to settle out of court for an 80 piece order of Lemon Pepper wings, and some curly fries," said a victim of the racist tirade.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Buffalo Wild Wings started trending Friday night, but not because of their popular honey BBQ sauce or boneless chicken wings. At about 6:30 p.m. the Minneapolis-based restaurant chain's Twitter account began posting extremely vulgar and racist messages, horrifying millions online.

It took about 20 minutes for Buffalo Wild Wings staff to regain control of their account and delete the profane tweets.

One of the racist messages targeted American film producer Tariq Nasheed, who said "a bunch of white supremacists" continued to harass him well after the hack. "I'm willing to settle out of court for an 80 piece order of Lemon Pepper wings, and some curly fries," he said.

As expected, the Internet had a field day with the chain's embarrassment, with no shortage of references to Roseanne Barr's "ambien tweeting" from earlier this week.
