Caribou Coffee Hit With Data Breach: List Of Stores Affected
More than 200 locations in Minnesota were impacted, according to the company.

MINNEAPOLIS — Twin Cities-based Caribou Coffee says it has identified a data breach that affected dozens of stores, including more than 200 locations in Minnesota. Unauthorized access to the company's point of sale systems was detected late last moth, and customer data was exposed.
"We sincerely apologize that this breach occurred and assure you that our team is working to help prevent data security issues from occurring in the future," John Butcher, the president of Caribou Coffee, said in a statement.
"The privacy and security of your information is very important to us and we remain committed to doing everything we can to maintain the confidentiality of your information."

The breach has been contained, according to the company. However, if you visited the Caribou locations listed here between Aug. 28 and Dec. 3, there's a chance your name and credit card information was exposed.
